How else can we describe the direction of South African fashion without pointing on some high defined contributions of the two most eligible Designers that have joined forces since 2003. Malcolm and Christian making up the successful partnership that gave birth to the eloquent and evenly growing  brand Kluk CGDT. These two have been awarded individually and within the brand with various accolades which most of them are international also within the continent. They have worked so hard from 2003 and have since showcased their 6 stunning designs/ collections at stages internationally – Russian Fashion Week, New York Fashion and Paris fashion by invite. They have also caught eyes with their signature bridal wear at amazing shows in LAGOS where they have been also honoured with accolades that have put the brand on the fore front of African Fashion.

With Studios in Cape Town, Johannesburg and now recently opened in Pretoria Kluk CGDT is one of South Africa’s fast growing brands. They are known for their couture elegant style dressing celebrities for SA’s red carpet events and also have successfully made dreams of beautiful brides seem like a fairy  tale with their high fashion wedding gowns.  These two are both adding a fine touch to the execution of the brand and have jointly been able to work so well together that their style has got them an award as  Best Styled Designers at the yearly  SA Style Awards held in Johannesburg.

We cannot in any case not speak about A LISTER designs if we do not mention the success of these two gentleman that have given taste of International Fashion with experience acquired by Malcolm during his time overseas after being mentored by international fashion houses /designers such as Jimmy Choo, Phillipe Starck and the American VOGUE’S Hamish Bowles.

Not only are they limited to just designing garment for shows but their work is extended to Jewel  designs and have done work for corporate clothing for  big brands like Toyota, Lipton tea and Santam.

Kluk CGTD is a force we need to watch in terms of South African Fashion going forward.
